The Seven Kings Park is a large Edwardian style park in Seven Kings, Ilford. The park has large open spaces, a cricket pitch, a football pitch, a bowling green, skating park, a bandstand and lots of things for children to do in the Children's play area. The Tullett Prebon Boat Show 2012 at Excel London was a wonderful experience. There was so much to see - superyachts, ocean racers, catamarans and boating fashion. Shanklin is lovely little seaside town in Isle of Wight. We spent a few nights there during the Christmas break. On our way to the Highlands from London, we stopped for a night at the little town of Garforth in West Yorkshire. We stayed at the Holiday Inn. This weekend we visited the Cliveden National Trust Estate in Berkshire. Set in 376 acres, the estate has now been converted into a luxury hotel. The property (gardens, woodlands, the orangery, chapel) is open to members of National Trust and some parts of the house are open to members on Sundays. Cliveden is set on the banks of the river Thames and has been home to royalty for many many years.

The Lord Mayor's coach is over 250 years old. It is used in the Lord Mayor's show every November. Last November when we had been to the Lord Mayors show - we spotted the coach carrying the new Mayor through the streets of London city.
