Grey Squirrels at the Valentine's park in Redbridge

I love squirrels.

Valentine's Park in Redbridge has a large population of grey squirrels. On our last visit to the park, we took a box of walnuts for our cute furry friends. Some were shy and sceptical, while some were daring and adventurous and came over for the walnuts. Some even climbed onto me :) There was one particularly daring one who climbed onto me, took the walnut and ate it all sitting on my leg and then tried to pull away the walnuts in my hand. Cheeky little fellow.

Some interesting information about squirrels:

- The squirrels teeth keeps growing continuously, its only because of the constant wear and tear that they stay short.

- What is the size of a squirrel's brain? About the size of a walnut :)
